Can someone who has been cooped up inside her apartment have favorites of the month? Of course.
I mean, just because I’ve decided to lock myself in doesn’t mean I don’t do online shopping depending on my mood. And even though I think that I’ve decreased the amount of purchases recently, I have found one or two things that have actually made me want to sit down and share this.
So less texting and more sharing.

Skincare: I feel like when it comes to skincare, I have certain staples that you will never see me changing, like my always trusty Round Lab sunscreen, but from time to time, I’ll try some new things that feel just right:
- Torriden CELLMAZING Firming Cream: So, on the website it claims the following: A firming cream that helps improve skin firmness and elasticity with 5D multi-low-molecular collagen. And honestly, yes, I have been feeling my skin a bit tighter, with my pores also looking less obvious. I also use it on my neck and even though it’s not a miracle cream with a miracle formula, with consistent usage you do notice changes on your skin.
- Some of the things I like:
- It definitely is hydrating.
- The formula is lightweight.
- No scent to the formula.
- Fast absorption.
- Some of the things I like:
- Torriden CELLMAZING Firming Gel Mask: Just as with the face cream, this mask also carries the 5D multi-low-molecular collagen “technology.” Again, I’m getting into products that allow me to soften my skin’s appearance as I start aging. I guess, instead of anti-aging, I’m looking to “slow age.” And these two products combined do just that.
Makeup: Honestly, I haven’t been wearing that much makeup but here are the two things that I absolutely love.
- MAC Eyeliner Eye Kohl: Creamy and perfect for blending if you want to use it as an eyeshadow, which, honestly, is what I’ve been doing lately. That’s all I’ve got to say.
- 3CE Blur Water Tint: It has a blurry matte effect that actually lasts for a while. The formula dries up fast and it doesn’t feel heavy on the lips. And, in my experience, it also doesn’t dry your lips. A big plus if your lips tend to dry like mine.
Media & Entertainment
Here, I’ll just make a list and share the emotions each show makes me feel:
- Series:
- Ted Lasso: Hopeful, feel-good content.
- Shrinking: Funny, amazing writing.
- YouTube:
- Sissel: Relatable, and I like her online personality.
- Psyphoria: Smart, challenging. Psychology meets self-discovery.
That’s my little corner of favorites for now. Cooped up but never bored, apparently.
