4 k-beauty face masks I can't live without
As someone who has experienced FOMO on face masks and K-beauty trends, here are the ones that have made it past the hype.

If I were to tell you anything about me, it would be that I am fairly proud of how well I take care of my face. This is something that has taken time, research, trials and yes, money. But as I keep getting closer to the big 4-0, I can say I have never felt any better about my face routine.

Quick context: my skin tends to be dry and a tad sensitive, and I’m focusing on formulations that target “slow aging.” Ok, less chat, more masks.

Like I mentioned, my skin is really dry, and keeping hydrated is one of my main targets no matter the stage my skin is in. So, these two have become staples in my routine.

  • MEDIHEAL Hyaluronate Ultra Hydrating Gel Mask: Before my Torriden obsession, most of my masks were MEDIHEAL, and this is the one I keep going back to. Amazing formulation for an affordable price. My skin feels hydrated and nourished after using this mask. The not-so-perfect part: it can get messy.
  • Biodance Hydro Cera-nol Real Deep Mask: One of my recent additions. They’re made for soothing, moisturizing, and nourishing, and honestly, my skin ends up looking smooth and glowy. What I don’t like, but mostly out of laziness, is that you need to make some cuts into the mask so it fits perfectly on your face

As I focus on treating fine lines while slowing down the aging process, the following masks carry ingredients that, besides being hyped, seem to be working on my skin.

  • Numbuzin No.9+ NAD Bio Lifting: I tried this one as a gift on a purchase, and yes! I love how tight my skin feels after using it and, again, love how hydrated my face feels. The downside for me is that it can be tricky to put on.
  • MEDIHEAL Rose PDRN: Simple and hydrating and after consecutive uses, my skin does feel tighter.

If there’s anything I think I’ll have to deal with my entire life, it’s how large my pores are. What I can do…find ways to reduce them and that’s exactly what this face mask does.

  • Torriden Cellmazing Pore Perfecting: Not to be confused with the firming gel mask from my August favorites. But this one, I do need to restock quite often. In a way I feel that if I’m in a “rush,” this is a face mask that provides my skin what all the other masks target separately. Definitely a keeper if you like routines that don’t require much effort.

That’s my list of the ones that made it past the hype. Not a miracle in the bunch, but my skin is happier, and so am I.
